At the DGTF (German Association for Design Theory and Research) conference in November 2012 at HAWK Hildesheim, we conducted a workshop facing the complex relation between participation and authorship. After a theoretical and practical project input from our side, we handed the issue over to our workshop participants. They had to accomplish the task to “record” their discussion in a collaborative collage showing the different challenges as well as roles the designer is faced in participatory design projects.
