uring the Nacht und Nebel-Festival in Berlin-Neukölln the Community Infrastructuring team supported by Lutz Reiter exhibited the installation “Dear Sonnenallee”. The installation offers the Neukölln citizens and festival visitors to publish ideas, desires and suggestions to a broader public. Additionally the individual opinions are discussable via text message in an anonymous way. The medium to hand in the opinions is our hybrid letter box. The handwritten message has to be thrown in and after seconds it is displayed on the huge public screen. The installation’s aim is a vivid dialogue about qualities and challenges of the neighborhood beyond the festival. You can check the emerged discussion on Dear-Sonnenallee-Blog.
